I have never been a blogger, but for EDU350 we have to write a blog a week about our experience throughout the semester in the class, and how we can use the things we learn in our classroom when we become teachers. The first thing I wish to write about is the day when we learned how to use the MAC computers. I know for a fact by the time I am a teacher the students will all know how to use those computers, and the one day in there really helped me get an idea of what they are like. It is definitely a tool that can be used in the classroom, no matter what age or subject being taught. There is so much to do on MAC's. I couldn't believe some of the things that we were able to do, but again, that one day learning about how to use a MAC will go a long way, as I will continue to learn more and more about MAC's. I really enjoyed the camera thing that was in the computer and how I could take all sorts of different pictures and how the camera could distort your face and stuff like that. In all honesty, that is something that as a teacher I could do, if I ever planned on giving my students a "break" from learning we could head to the computer lab and let them play around on a MAC while I grade some tests or something. Hopefully the school I get a job at will have a MAC lab.
